Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Converspine Technologies Private Limited (CIN U62099KA2026PTC229517, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India) (“Converspine”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website, the Converspine web app and phone apps, Saarathi, and the messaging features we run for businesses on WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram (together, the “Services”).

1. Our two roles

• For our customers and their staff (property developers, channel partners and their teams), we decide how account data is used. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for that data.
• For the people our customers deal with (home buyers, enquirers and other contacts), we process data on the customer’s behalf and on their instructions. The customer is the Data Fiduciary and its own privacy notice applies. We are its Data Processor.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, work email, mobile number, role, workspace, and records of sign-ins.
• Business content: what a customer puts into the Services, such as projects, units, prices, leads, site visits, quotes, bookings, payments, documents and notes.
• Messages: messages, comments and replies exchanged through the WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram accounts a customer connects, with their delivery status.
• Website enquiries: the name, company, mobile number and work email you give us when you ask for a walkthrough.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser details, and the time of requests, used to keep the Services secure and working.

3. Data from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp

A business can connect its Facebook Page, Instagram professional account or WhatsApp Business account to Converspine. It does this through Meta’s own login and chooses which permissions to grant. With that permission we may receive:

• the Page, account and phone number identifiers and names;
• posts and comments on the business’s Page or Instagram account, and the public name of the person who wrote them;
• messages people send to the business, the business’s replies, and their delivery status;
• basic insights about the business’s own posts.

We use this data only to provide the features the business has switched on: showing and answering messages and comments, publishing posts the business approves, and recording conversations in its own workspace. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it for any purpose that Meta’s Platform Terms do not allow. A business can disconnect its accounts at any time. 4. How we use data

• to provide, maintain and support the Services;
• to keep accounts and data secure, and to prevent misuse;
• to send service messages, such as sign-in codes, invitations and notices about your account;
• to bill customers and meet legal obligations;
• to answer website enquiries.

Some features use AI models run by third-party providers to understand messages and draft replies. Those providers receive the text the task needs. A person at the business stays responsible for what is sent on its behalf.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only:

• with service providers that run parts of the Services for us, such as cloud hosting, databases, email delivery, messaging platforms (including Meta) and AI model providers, under contract and only for that purpose;
• within a customer’s own workspace, according to the roles the customer sets;
• when the law requires it, or to protect people, our customers or the Services;
• with a buyer of our business, under the same protections, if Converspine is merged or sold.

6. Where data is kept

Our service providers may store or process data in India and in other countries. Where data leaves India, we do so as Indian law allows.

7. How long we keep data

We keep data while the customer’s account is active and as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. When a customer closes its account or asks us to delete data, we delete it, except for records we must keep by law.

8. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls by role, separation of each customer’s workspace in the database, and audit records of changes. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or complete it, or to erase it. You may also withdraw consent you gave, raise a grievance, and nominate someone to act for you. If a business you deal with uses Converspine, ask that business first; we will help it answer you. To make a request or raise a grievance, email our Grievance Officer at admin@converspine.com. We reply within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

The Services are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and show the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell customers before it applies.
